2007 Auditions Information

UTO is once again holding auditions for its 2007-2008 year. We are looking for 5-6 women in all vocal ranges. Sightsinging and performance ability are a plus. Audition sign-ups will be at the fall Activities Fair. If for some reason you cannot make it to the fair, please e-mail shainajg@brandeis.edu to sign up.

UTO is out for Summer

The girls are out on break for the summer, but the CD is still available all summer long and gigs can be booked through e-mail.

Callbacks are posted

We have posted our callbacks list in the Campus Center. Thank you to everyone who auditioned. It was a tough bunch to narrow down and we only wish we had more spaces available.


2006 AUDITION INFORMATION

Up The Octave is looking for 4-6 new girls to sing with us. We are in the midst of learning several new songs, releasing a new album, planning a tour, and other exciting things. Sign ups for auditions will be held at the Activities Fair. Stay tuned for more information.


News From the Studio

All the tracks have been recorded for our new CD. Emily and Afton are spending the summer polishing and helping our studio engineer mix. Its sounding great and we can't wait to release it in October. Preorder your copy by going to the CD Info page.


Spring Show Success - April 27, 2006

The Connecticut College Co-Co Beaux's performed magnificently to open up our Spring Show this year. The theme was 'dinner party' and we treated our audience to a menu of fabulous songs. Midyear Auditions! - January 15, 2006

UTO is holding midyear auditions at the beginning of spring semester. Any and all female singers welcome. Look for us at the activities fair to sign up.


News from the Studio

We now have 4 tracks complete for our third CD! Studio weekends are progressing smoothly with the help of dunkin donuts, whitney's one take wonder, Shaina's smiles and a whole lotta a capella lovin'. Its going to be a great disc folks..


Newburyport, MA

We traveled up to newburyport to sing before the holidays. We netted some cash and put smiles on a lot of faces. Shaina and Emily found a store just for them. Sam rocked the bass for four hours. Molly's parents provided encouragement and motivation!


September '05 Auditions

Dear Abbeys to perform at our Fall Fest show

UTO to sing in Salem

On Saturday, Oct 29th, Up the Octave will be singing in Salem, MA for the Halloween weekend festivities. Come find us in front of the haunted house, starting around 6 pm.
